PostSubject: I do not know how to set the float properly. There is a little needle thing that attatches to the float. Do you know where to set it at?   Wed Apr 14, 2010 7:41 am

There is a gauge that shows exactly but you can do it without it just takes longer:

First eyeball the position of the float.
Set it close to where you think it should be, then screw the bolt back on and turn the gas on
If fuel runs out the overflow tube you will need to raise the needle up.
If fuel doesn't run out the overflow start the bike up and see if it runs. If it does run ride bike at wide open throttle and see if it cuts out if it cuts out and you can let off the throttle for a few seconds and it will then run again, that indicates it is starving the bowl and you need to lower the needle.

Hope this helps
