I recently got an electric smoker and failed miserably at using it.
Ill take any tips!!
Its a brinkman electric smoker my first attempt was on some chicken
and it was totally not done after about 5 hours.

Grilling on the other hand has become a common practice I got a chimney and have
been grilling any meat I can find in the house.

I smoke on a charcoal grill, I do not have a smoke box on it, I put wet hickory chips in aluminum foil, poke holes in the packet, and put the foil pack directly on the hot coals, works great and smokes the food while cooking it and gets it done alot faster.

I am wanting to build an in ground smoker but have not got it done, basically I will build a pit and have a tube or duct go to another smaller pit which will be the firebox. I have been looking this design up online for a year or two just have not had the time and energy to dig the holes lol
