Okay, Mel here, bogarting Rickey's screenname again. I promise to find time to get my own soon. In the meantime, I wanted to put his stuck picture out there for consideration. He isn't home, so I can do this. Doesn't look like much, but it took the winch to get him out, it was Deepwater (nuff said), and the Raptor could high center on a junebug. He was already starting to try to lift it by the time our riding buddy Mark got this picture.

LOL, Deepwater mud is a different level of mudddddy. We avoided it at first, but now we embrace it, and have developed a taste for it. (We find it piquant, with a slight overtone of gritty. Goes well with bologna sandwiches. )

If you look over in the Ride Invites to Banshee Rick's picture of Mark (curado), I think he definitely gets a 'worst stuck'... his bike doesn't even need a kickstand it's so deep in the mud!
The pics are Rick's, so I didn't want to post it here for him, but it looked like great muddy fun!

Buutttt BBBBAAABBBYYY, BANSHEE RICK said I should get some 22's. That would give me at least another inch of clearance, maybe even 2 inches. Is there such a thing as 24's?

Umm... Let's see..... a couple of inches for a few hundred dollars (on the cheap side)? I think it's "money to go riding" or "money to ride higher" right now. We'll keep our eyes out for some used wheels, see what happens. I figure it's probably a good thing to slow you down a bit right now anyway... your traveling nurse isn't following you around the woods, you know!
