PostSubject: My wifes drag yfz450   Fri Mar 13, 2009 9:13 pm

Here is my wifes drag yfz 450, it isnt complete to where it needs to be as of yet.

It is a 05 bike it has a 06 crank with a stock bore and a 15-1 piston with +1 valve and drag ported head.
Has ronwood's billet cams and a HSR 45mm carb on it and a Nmotion out of frame drag pipe.
The bike weighted in @ 263#s wet ready to go with a wheelie bar on it and ran a 4.72 @ the same track my banshee ran @ BRSD's in MO.
I will be making some light weight a arms for it in a few weeks and a lighter subframe should be able to get the bike around 230#s wet ready to go when i am done.

It was 250#s in the pic's @ LS when we where out there in Oct.

With another drag pipe on it.

My wife on it @ the track

both our bikes @ the track that day.

Updated pic's for the drags next weekend.

I have the stock pipe on there cause i was building drag subframes and using it as the jig....lol
We put some new lower marvin shaws on the front to give it a little better launch @ the track and aslo put another +6 swingarm on it
but this one is alot lighter than our old one.

Can you say LOW... affraid
